Here is the fin can with a 5" motor tube in it. This rocket is designed to be flown on a 5" dia sugar motor. |

This is the fin can with a beer for scale. The fins are carbon coated plywood (Same technique as our high pressure glassing) see our fiber glassing page for more on how we do that. |

The fin can ready for primer. The fins have a layer of carbon, Kevlar root strip. lower fin tip to tip Kevlar and a layer of glass tip to tip, don't think they are going anywhere! |
